Link Mobile Number:
You can link your phone number by going to「Me」>「Settings」>「Profile」>「Phone」.
Change Mobile Number:
- Go to「Me」>「Settings」>「Profile」>「Phone」>「Change Mobile」. After changing, your previous phone number will be unlinked.
- Once you've linked your mobile number, you can synchronize your Mobile Contacts to add friends who also use WeChat.
- You can also retrieve your WeChat password via your linked mobile number.
Notes:
1. You can link your mobile number to only one WeChat ID. If you've forgotten your previously linked WeChat ID, you cannot link your phone number to a new WeChat account. In this case, you can retrieve your password via SMS (tap here to see password retrieval methods).
2. Once you've linked a mobile number on WeChat, you can only unlink it by linking another mobile number.
