How to Tell if You Are Using a WeChat or Weixin Account？

To determine whether you are using a WeChat or Weixin account, follow these steps:

- Log in to your account and check the top area in the Chat tab.

- If it shows "Weixin," you are using a Weixin account. If it shows "WeChat," you are using a WeChat account.

- Make sure your app is updated to version 8.0.17 or above to access this feature.
