Follow these steps to request account deletion:
- Log in to WeChat.
- Go to 「Me」>「Settings」>「Account Security」>「WeChat Security Center」>「Safety Tools」>「Account Cancellation」.
Notes:
- If the system prompts "Unable to Cancel", troubleshoot the possible reasons provided and try again.
- Once your account is canceled, all data will be permanently deleted, and your WeChat ID cannot be reused.
- After submitting your cancellation request, your account will be automatically logged out.
- To cancel the deletion process, log in to your WeChat account within 15 days of submitting the request. After 15 days, your account and all associated information will be permanently deleted, and recovery will not be possible.
- You can freeze your account after requesting deletion without interrupting the cancellation process.
- Read the Important Notice carefully before proceeding with account cancellation to minimize any inconvenience.
