Once you've set your WeChat ID, it cannot be hidden from your profile and can only be changed once per year. Each WeChat user is assigned a unique ID to facilitate easy login and allow friends to add them conveniently. If you haven't created a custom WeChat ID, your friends will see the original ID automatically generated by WeChat.
Note:
- You can restrict others from finding and friending you through your WeChat ID. To do this: go to 「Me」>「Settings」>「Friends' Permissions」>「Methods for Friending Me」>Toggle off Find me by WeChat ID.
