If you have not enabled any privacy settings, anyone who knows your WeChat ID, mobile phone number, or email address (if linked to your WeChat account) can add you as a contact.
You can disable anyone from finding you through your WeChat ID, phone number and email in 「Me」>「Settings」>「Privacy」>「Methods for Friending Me」.
