To add friends on WeChat, follow these steps:
1. Search by WeChat ID or Phone Number
Enter your friend's WeChat ID or phone number to find and add them.
2. Friend Radar
Quickly add friends nearby without manually exchanging contact information.
3. Add from Mobile Contacts
WeChat will display friends from your mobile address book who already use the app, allowing you to add them easily.
4. Scan QR Code
Scan your friend's QR code to instantly add them.
5. People Nearby
Use the People Nearby feature in the Discover tab to find and add users close to your location.
6. Shake
Access the Shake feature in the Discover tab to connect with users worldwide who are shaking their phones at the same time as you.
